The other day, I let Kristin take some pictures.  She did pretty darn good if I do say so.

A Walk in the Park

We went to park that we haven't been to before.  It's always a grand adventure to go to a new place.  I had fun taking pictures of the kids and the scenery all around.

Hard to Keep Up!

It is very hard to keep up three blogs!  Especially when you have three kids, two of which are in school and have homework.  Not to mention drama and sickness that seems to be ever abounding!  Oh and then you get a new computer and you are busy with life, so transferring files is not a high priority.  That being said, here are some pics to share...

Big Boy Bed

For nearly 3 years now, Ryan has slept in a toddler bed.  Oh how he loved his toddler bed.  How could he not, it had Lightnin' McQueen on it.  But, the mattress was old.  It was the mattress from the crib.  It was falling apart and it was hard in places.  We even folded up a comforter to make it softer.  He just wasn't sleeping good.  And then finally we got our taxes.  And we set out to buy him his first big boy bed!  It was delivered the very same day and in time for him to use it that night!

I am not sure if he likes it or not...what do you think?

He slept all night last night!

I asked him if he liked his new bed...

He said, "yeah but it's a little high."  and it is tall, but he likes it and he is comfy!

I just got a new a laptop...like I said, we got our income taxes.  I will be posting pictures as often as I can as I transfer and upload old and new stuff.  I hope to post at least 3 times a week with this one.  Check back often.

Raw

I know next to nothing about photography.  And it is no coincidence that this blog is called "Point and Shoot"  because that is what I do.  Well I thought I was being all that and a bag chips when I decided to play with my camera.  I chose "raw."  Played with all the other numbers and F stops and apertures.  *Snort* Yeah like I know what all that means anyway.  I uploaded said pictures.  They were blurry, washed out, or dark.  I salvaged a couple, but that was only after I changed the file from PEF to JPG.  I have no clue either.  I am back on the auto settings.  Point and shoot is for me!

My Pictures

I realized that lately I haven't been sharing very many photos on my main blog.  So, in order to share and give myself ONE more thing to manage I created this blog to share my pictures.  It is also for family members who don't live close to come and see the kids.

 We went to the "Rod Run"  last month.  Ryan loves cars.

The kids "called" just about every car they saw.

I have more from Easter, but since I used the "raw' setting it saved the file differently so now I have to go back and make the necessary changes.  I don't think I will post as many pictures next time, as I did now.  I also don't know how often I will be posting.
